ANOTHER DEBATE & ANOTHER STEP FORWARD FOR THE DONALD. LISTENING TO THE BUSINESS MAN WE SHOULD AS IF MORE FOLKS FROM EVERYDAY LIFE SHOULD RUN FOR OFFICE? It seems inevitable now that Donald J Trump will be the GOP candidate for Prez. This explains the boring nature of this last debate.
The Polls tell us that Trump is about by 20 in FL & ahead of Kasich in his own home of OH. Trump looks to embarass 2 party stalwarts in their own homes tates and send them packing. Rubio’s career looks to be destroyed by his stupid decisions and lack of ground game -- his arrogance in other words. Kasich probably withdraws after next tuesday as well.
This leaves Cruz against Trump. But Cruz suffers from what one pundit describes as a “massive fault” -- not being able to increase his base. In a normal year his excellent and fine-tuned points might help carry some states. But this year...anger is the season du jur -- and GOP regulars want payback against all the years of treason. Therefore the party loyalists suffer.
As one writer states, “ Ted Cruz is still standing but he has a hidden weakness. And it’s devastating. He has not been able to expand beyond his solid base of evangelicals and ideological conservatives (whether they are economic conservatives or values conservatives). "
But in the meantime we have our hands full with illegals out the yazoo, and an increasingly cynical, openly dysfunctional and rude president opens wide the floodgates for illegals. It’s never been worse, according to experts, and the ultimate end game of Obama’s illegal rodeo might even be worse.
